Pre trip done
Well we are back from Vic Falls a lot more water than in November as they had unexpected rain in July
which was good for us. The trip to Chobe in Botswana was awesome we just entered the gate and I spotted a Sable antelope to far for a photo but fortunately as we got to the water we saw another 4 below is a photo. We saw 4 lions as well, lots of Buffalo and Elephant on the Namibian side grazing the grass.
Sadly the day ended crappy at the border post as we had some problems and a African church group pushed their way through creating bad vibes but we were rewarded with some great game viewing on the road home withe giraffe, zebra, elephant , impala and some ground horn bills.
So all in all we had a great time then at the Boma dinner two guests and i had mpani worms.mmmm
not bad at all.
well now we start the base trip tomorrow we are in Soweto, then Pretoria and then we are outbof the city .
i will carry on soon

The time is almost here
Well its five days to go before I meet the first lot of guests for the first leg of our new adventure.
I have packed my bag wondering what i will need or have forgotten behind.
I am sure this will be an exciting trip as everyday is a different adventure it just depends on how you decide to handle it.
I heard the trip ahead of us had some fun and games with Sani pass closed due to snow, yes snow in Africa, someone is pulling a nasty prank, but the sun is shining again and it will be 3 weeks before we get there,so no problem.
We will land just outside the town of Victoria falls, then drive about 20 minuets to the town.
Victoria Falls town is in a protected game reserve, and it gives the traveller the feeling one has of Africa, as the animals walk freely, as we do through the town with African traders selling carvings out of stone, wood and bones.PLEASE don't feed or try and touch the animals, they are wild. Here they only accept the US currency as theirs has no value their largest bill is ONE HUNDRED TRILLION DOLLARS which has a value of about $1.
I also am looking forward to going to Chobe again, I feel it is one park everyone should visit, with vasts amounts of Elephants roaming around, and it is another country under ones belt.
Also in Chobe you are on 4 countries borders Namibia, Zambia, Botswana and Zimbabwe.
I hope this will get you ready for the next entry on Sunday after i have met the group.
I will be taking photos and posting them on face book(Jason's Safaris Mair) so you can follow there to
Regards
